Dispatcher-Transportation - JS Transportation MBMC

Summary

Monitors continuously, the communications systems in the transportation office. Directs appropriate personnel to patient rooms, treatment areas, doctor's offices, and admissions areas based on predetermined schedule, telephone calls, or other requests for transportation assistance. Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Handles all requests for Transportation.
• Performs transporter duties as necessary to fulfill hospital and department mission.
• Completes assigned goals.

Requirements, Preferences and Experience

Education

Preferred: HS diploma or GED.

Minimum: Knowledge, skills and mental development equivalent to completion of 4 years of high school, or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience

Special Skills

Minimum: Ability to log, assign, and complete transport requests.
