Summary Provide support to employees or internal customers in resolving complex or escalated technology issues. Ensure the proper day-to-day operation of internal technology applications and equipment. Troubleshoot software and hardware issues on laptops, desktops, tablets, smartphones, servers, and/or network equipment. Perform updates, repairs, upgrades, backups, and other maintenance tasks. May also handle phone and email assistance as well. Incumbent is subject to overtime, callback, and on-call as required. Perform other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities - Provides high level technical assistance to computer system users.
- Solves complex problems dealing with a variety of concrete variables by interpreting written and verbal information and screen shots or other data supplied.
- Maintains current and advanced knowledge of hospital information systems, software, networks and telecommunications technologies.
- Uses advanced tools, advanced knowledge and experience to analyze, diagnose and resolve problems.
- Acts as a knowledge author by composing new support documentation and evaluating and maintaining existing support documentation.
- Provides leadership and direction to junior information systems staff.
- Completes assigned goals.
Requirements, Preferences and Experience Experience Preferred: Bachelors degree or greater than 3 years experience dependent on education.
Minimum: Minimum of three years of related experience.
Licensure, Registration, Certification Minimum: DRIVER'S LICENSE (CURRENT)
