Manager-Provider Enrollment - MG CBO Credentialing

Summary

Overview and Responsibilities

Oversees the Provider Enrollment and Credentialing function for Baptist Medical Group. Provides supervision and direction to the Provider Enrollment personnel to ensure timely credentialing of physicians and mid level practitioners with third party payers.

Essential Job Accountabilities:
• Provides clear direction for staff by establishing goals, objectives, policies, procedures, performance improvement programs, and action plans as needed
• Performs all hiring, training, coaching, auditing and evaluations of staff to ensure effective and efficient operational
• Supervises workflow including guidance and training for staff
• Manages the process to ensure the timely submission of re-credentialing documentation for each provider
• Directs the process to ensure the timely submission and follow up of contracts and documentation with the payers to ensure that each provider is billing ready upon the commencement of their employment
• Provides oversight for quality and productivity metrics directly related to provider enrollment functions and capabilities.
• Analyzes workflows, organizational structure, staffing assignments or other factors to ensure optimal performance; makes recommendations and modifications, as necessary.
• Oversees maintenance and updating of Provider Enrollment Databases.
• Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, and policies & procedures

Requirements, Preferences and Experience

Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent years of experience
• Three years progressive, outcome oriented management/supervisory experience in provider enrollment, physician practice management, and practice receivable management. 5 years experience preferred
• Working knowledge of Cactus, Symed and/or Allscripts systems strongly preferred
• Excellence interpersonal skills any a collaborative management style
• Ability to work well with all levels of personnel
• Excellent PC based application skills, including Excel, Access and Word
• Ability to prioritize effectively in a high volume environment
