LPN-Employee Health - NM HRD Administration BMH North MS

Summary

Provides for and delivers health and safety services to employees, employee populations and community groups. Focuses on promotion and restoration of health, prevention of illness and injury, and protection from occupational and environmental hazards. Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Implements policy and procedure to ensure appropriate and efficient management of employee health functions as directed by the RN.
• Provides client, employee, and community health teaching/education.
• Maintains documentation/records.
• Promotes preventative health measures.
• Administers medications as prescribed within the scope of licensure.
• Participates in activities designed to improve health care delivery.
• Provides leadership.
• Participates in ongoing educational activities.
• Completes assigned goals.

Requirements, Preferences and Experience

Experience

Minimum: 2 years of clinical experience.

Licensure, Registration, Certification

Minimum: BLS certification within 14 days of hire date

Special Skills

Minimum: Basic Computer literacy.
