Summary

Leads the ongoing assessment, institutional research, and data reporting/standardization for all College functions, programs, services and activities. Coordinates and supports the development and maintenance of the College's strategic plan and assessment processes. Manages and coordinates all aspects of regional accreditation and acts as the Accreditation Liaison Officer with the College's regional accrediting commission. . Under the general direction of the President. Incumbents are subject to hours beyond the normal workday.

Responsibilities

  • Leads activities related to overall institutional assessment of effectiveness for educational, administrative, and support services.
  • Leads the College's strategic planning process and tracking of its related performance indicators in collaboration with the President, Planning Council, divisions and departments.
  • Leads the College's regional accreditation process as the College's Accreditation Liaison and assists with identifying and verifying data required for programmatic accreditations.
  • Directs and/or audits ongoing data gathering and reporting of official institutional information associated with College performance measures, trend analysis, assessment data, benchmarks and other special reports for internal and external agencies and customers.
  • Directs or conducts institutional research, analyzes data, and summarizes findings to assist in decision making and quality improvement.
  • Assists with the development, implementation, monitoring, and revisions of policies as they relate to accreditation standards, institutional effectiveness and planning.
  • Performs related accountabilities/responsibilities as required or directed.


Requirements, Preferences and Experience

Education

Desired: Doctoral degree in education, business, statistics, or related field.Knowledge of assessment requirements to demonstrate institutional effectiveness for colleges and universities.Skill in use of computerized systems and databases to generate reports.Experience with knowledge management tools including data warehouses and data mining.Experience in leadership roles with regional and/or programmatic accreditation.Experience in developing and supporting institutional planning processes.

Experience

Desired: Six (6) years of experience with accreditation or strategic planning, outcome assessment and institutional research in higher education.
