Manager-Physician Development - HS HRD Continuing Medical Education Corporate

Plans, develops, and markets medical education programs, workshops, conferences and seminars by assessing customer needs to ensure support of educational offerings and organizational goals. Performs other duties as assigned.


  • Plans, develops, and coordinates continuing medical education programs/activities including but not limited to needs assessment, planning, marketing, evaluation, and outcomes assessment.
  • Achieves and maintains accreditation by local, regional or national accrediting bodies in order to ensure quality standards of instructional activities, workshops, materials and/or production which meets organizational needs.
  • Maintains educational records and resources for all programs/productions according to ACCME guidelines.
  • Develops and monitors a budget including expense and revenue for each program/activity planned as well as managing resources effectively to meet strategic goals of the organization. Contributes to development of budget for operations and capital expenditures for cost center budget.
  • Completes assigned goals.

Requirements, Preferences and Experience


Preferred: Master's Degree in a Health Related Field or Education and 3 years experience leading a CME program.

Minimum: Bachelor's degree with two years of related experience.


Preferred: 3 years of managing continuing medical education programs in accordance with ACCME standards.

Minimum: At least one year experience assisting in a department that has hosted continuing education events for credit.


Preferred: Attended 3 ACCME workshops and submitted a reaccreditation or accreditation application.

Minimum: Attended at least two ACCME annual workshops.
