Analyst-Case Management Senior - HS Case Mgmt Administration Corporate

Summary

Responsible for assisting in the implementation of reviewer reliability processes for all levels of care for all BMHCC entities to promote validity and reliability of review activities in case management. Incumbent is responsible for eight (8) hours per day, five (5) days per week. Incumbent is also responsible for resolving issues occurring on all shifts seven (7) days a week. Some overtime, callback/week-end coverage may be required. Position reports to System Director, Case Management.

Responsibilities

• Complete encounters requiring follow-up on work queue list.
• Perform ongoing concurrent and retrospective monitoring and evaluation of activities relating to utilization review and discharge planning.
• Assist Case Management Director in strategies for improvement and intervention.
• Assist case management educator with ongoing education to case managers.
• Identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for review and resource management.
• Benchmarks and promotes sharing of best practices and encourages break-through thinking, creativity, and innovation.

Requirements, Preferences and Experience

Education

Preferred: BSN CCM/ACM certification (or obtain within 3 years of employment)

Minimum: ADN or Diploma

Experience

Minimum: 3-5 years in management or related field

Licensure, Registration, Certification

Preferred: CCM;ACM

Minimum: RN
