System Director-Revenue Cycle

Summary

Oversees Hospital revenue cycle including Billing, Follow Up and Revenue Integrity. This position is responsible to optimize net revenue, improve processes and identify areas of opportunity. Maintains knowledge of revenue cycle best practices ensuring high productivity and proficiency standards are met. Promotes a culture of collaboration with other areas within the organization and serves as a positive role model for revenue cycle.

Responsibilities

Demonstrated ability to manage day to day operations of the integrated organization including billing operations, follow up processes, denial resolution, workflow mgmt., and revenue integrity. Understands EPIC workflows, functionalities and capabilities and is optimizes these capabilities within the revenue cycle operation. Understands and stays abreast of payer requirements and changes in the industry and communicates these changes including financial and operating impacts to leadership. Represents revenue cycle on site-specific Finance and Operations meetings. Monitors performance KPIs and reporting.

Requirements, Preferences and Experience

10 years of experience in hospital revenue cycle

Prior experience in leadership, management, or supervisory desired.

Ability to effectively communicate with staff, executive, and administrative leadership. Objective tactful and courteous in all dealings, excellent organizational skills and problem solving abilities.
