Summary The MidSouth Miracle Project Manager will work directly with the Baptist Cancer Center leadership team to implement the 5+2 program components of the MidSouth Miracle across all of BMHCC. The Project Manager will serve as a liaison between BMHCC sites, provide administrative support, disseminate data, and will also assist with thoracic oncology research-related activities associated with MidSouth Miracle objectives.
Performs other duties as assigned. Occasional travel required.
Responsibilities - Assists the Cancer Center leadership team in the development, implementation, and improvement of lung cancer care delivery models
- Meets regularly with sites to understand and communicate gaps in program deployment, resource challenges, and progress related to fiscal year goals.
- Prepares agendas and presentations as well as facilitates meetings with key stakeholders
- Identifies site-specific barriers and collaborates across departments to develop and execute plans
to resolve challenges and create team cohesiveness.
- Assists with the development of strategic plans in partnership with site directors and system directors to further the Cancer Center's mission.
- Serves as a resource for site leaders and team members for educating on MSM
- Maintains accurate record keeping of data, site resources, and program structures
- Collaborates in the preparation of annual projections and revenue generated by MidSouth Miracle related activities across all sites by reviewing historical and annualized costs and evaluating future needs to ensure fiscal sustainability, profitability, and growth.
- Manages and disseminates MidSouth Miracle monthly data reports as well as system-level MidSouth Miracle A3 Right Care, Right Cost, and Right Price data to help site leaders maintain goal alignment
- Participates in grant and protocol writing activities related to the MidSouth Miracle
Requirements, Preferences and Experience Experience:
Minimum required: 2 years of research, health, management, business or administration related field experience
Preferred: 5 years of research, health, management, business or administration related field experience, (oncology and project management experience preferred).
Education:
Minimum required: Bachelor's degree or higher
Preferred: Master's Degree or higher
Special Skills:
Minimum required: Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Computer literate (including experience with Microsoft Office suite of programs). Knowledge of health care issues, trends, legal compliance, and managed care with emphasis in healthcare operations. Ability to foster collaborative partnerships in the development, implementation and administration of service program delivery.
