Summary Creates and maintains digital content for both internal and external audiences using the most current technology available. Coordinates strategic use of digital assets in system marketing and communications campaigns. Performs other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities - Creates digital content consistent with Baptist branding guidelines using the technical skills required.
- Possesses the ability to create, edit and modify digital content on multiple web sites that meets client, department and corporate objectives for both internal and external audiences.
- Meets appropriate deadlines without supervision.
- Remains flexible and can re-prioritize multiple projects to meet shifting deadlines.
- Ensures content quality and accuracy.
- Design and implement creative page designs, banners, and graphics using HTML, CSS and other graphic design software as required.
- Successfully translates design mock-ups to code that works with multiple CSS and include files maintaining consistent navigation throughout the sites.
- Consults with internal clients and offers design and content update services to meet their online objectives.
- Handles multiple client projects at the same time and makes sure that jobs are done on time and the client is happy.
- Identifies and recommends appropriate online audiences, marketing tools, and objectives when developing content with a client.
- Analyzes client's needs and work processes to determine potential solutions.
- Identifies and recommends alternative Web marketing concepts as needed.
- Plans, coordinates content and publishes digital direct-marketing efforts.
- Ensures that all health information is clinically approved before distribution.
- Develops collaborative relationship with Corporate Communications staff, as well as key department and service line leaders within BMHCC, to identify and implement online objectives.
- Follows appropriate communication channels while developing projects.
- Communicates project status regularly to colleagues and clients.
- Consistently manages projects to meet deadlines without supervision.

Requirements, Preferences and Experience Experience Description Minimum Required Preferred/Desired Five years experience in digital content creation and strategy, four years hand-coding
html and CSS.
Seven years experience in digital content creation and strategy.
Education Description Minimum Required Preferred/Desired Associate's degree.
Bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent work experience and certifications.
Training Description Minimum Required Preferred/Desired Special Skills Description Minimum Required Preferred/Desired Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web design; Copy writing and editing skills.
Basic HTML5 understanding. Basic Photoshop or other photo editing software skills. Basic knowledge of JavaScript for page validation.
Web animation experience including video editing. Microsoft SharePoint, Sitecore or other Content Management System (CMS) experience. Experience using InDesign or Illustrator software. Working knowledge of information architecture principles. Experience with XML. Experience using
Social Media such as Facebook and Twitter/X to enhance page rankings in search results.
