Administrator- Epic Infrastructure Engineer Advisory

Overview

Summary

Serves as Subject Matter Expert to BMHCC BTS Senior Leadership for all aspects of the installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of the technical infrastructure and applications administration required to ensure system uptime and performance reliability for the BMHCC EPIC (Baptist One Care) solution.

 . Set up user accounts on organization's servers. Run necessary system backups. Provide technical support and troubleshoot problems on local area networks (LAN) and data networks using Microsoft operating systems. May perform some programming and may be responsible for script writing. Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Operational and Technical SME Knowledge to ensure optimal configuration and performance of Baptist One Care (BOC)
   
• Implementation of industry best practices for associated web-tier, application layer and interface features and related enhancements  associated with EPIC (BOC)
• Implementation of industry best practices for the optimization of Citrix and related virtual desktop technologies 
• Defines and implement key EPIC BOC architectural changes to ensure ease of introduction for new EPIC releases
• Other Duties, including rotational On-Call support, as well as mentorship of non-SME team members
• Completes assigned goals.

Requirements, Preferences and Experience

Education

Preferred:  EPIC Certification/Accreditation and Bachelor's Degree or higher (in related field).

Minimum:  Appropriate IS Education/Training or Bachelor?s Degree or higher (in related field).

Experience

Preferred:  Five or more years of relevant experience.

Minimum:  Minimum of four years of relevant experience.

Special Skills

Preferred:  Proven experience that demonstrates advanced knowledge of complex computer design and support.

Minimum:  Aptitude and skill in communicating and performing the techniques of information systems assessments.
