Manager-Data I - BCRI Baptist Clinical Research

Summary

The Data Manager (DM) is responsible for coordinating activities related to sponsor monitoring visits, data collection, investigational drug accountability and clinical supply monitoring. Duties will include working with investigators and coordinators (CRC) on case report form (CRF) completion, scheduling monitoring visits, receipt/dispensing of investigational drugs and maintaining required clinical supplies. Working closely with research staff on various data reports will also be the responsibility of the DM. The DM is responsible for demonstrating professional demeanor and maintaining confidentiality in all interactions with both internal and external contacts.

Responsibilities

• Completes and maintains case report forms (paper and electronic).
• Participates / Schedules sponsor monitoring visits and investigator meetings.
• Works closely with CRC on documentation, reports and CRF completion.
• Maintains Investigational Product Accountability (In conjunction with CRC).
• Maintains Clinical Supply Inventory.
• Participates in internal and external meetings as needed (Investigator meetings will require travel).
• Maintains strict patient confidentiality pursuant to the HIPAA, FDA, GCP, and ICH guidelines regarding research subjects.
• Contributes to a positive work environment and performs other duties as assigned or directed in order to enhance the overall team efforts of the organization.

Requirements, Preferences and Experience

Education

Preferred: BS degree preferred and two years medical office experience.

Minimum: Minimum requirement of high school diploma and one to two years medical office experience. Computer skills to include MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.
