Summary

Prepares and maintens the accuracy of payroll records using established policies and procedures in order to properly reflect the Company's operating results and financial position. Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Process Payroll checks biweekly in a timely manner.
  • Represent Payroll on Teams.
  • Develops and distributes reports as needed.
  • Tests software patches and identify changes as necessary.
  • Balances Payroll transactions to ensure that they post to the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers correctly.
  • Completes assigned goals.


Requirements, Preferences and Experience

Education

Minimum: Bachelor's degree. Experience may be substituted for formal education.

Experience

Preferred: Previous Systems experience & familiarity with Human Resource & General Ledger functionality preferred.

Minimum: Recent Payroll experience.

Special Skills

Minimum: Strong verbal & written communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Access, familiarity with ad hoc reporting tools (i.e., Oracle Discoverer, Crystal Reports).
