Housekeeper - CS Environmental Services University

Summary

To provide a clean and safe environment for students, staff, and guests. Responsible for the cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining of the College buildings and for identifying and reporting necessary repairs of equipment and buildings. Responsible for daily maintenance and cleaning of the facility 8 hours a day, 5 days a week under the general supervision of the Manager of Environmental Services. Incumbents are subject to hours beyond the normal workday.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned areas to provide a safe and pleasant environment.
• Practices infection control guidelines by adhering to universal precautions and practices safety precautions while completing job assignments.
• Maintains furniture, building, and equipment by identifying and reporting repair needs.
• Maintains floors and corridors by cleaning floors and washing walls to preserve floor quality and project a clean professional image.
• Follows Service First principles as reflected in the College's Service First Policy
• Performs other accountabilities as required or directed.
