Coordinator-Rehabilitation Outpatient - DC Desoto Athletic Club BMH Desoto

Summary

Performs clerical and general office duties associated with patient scheduling, insurance verification and pre-certification, charge entry and reconciliation, and supply requisition. Maintains and manages medical records. Gathers and summarizes information for preparation of reports. Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Performs clerical and general office duties.
• Assures completeness of the medical record including the intial chart build and build of charts for subsequent accounts.
• Maintains an organized and efficient office.
• Completes assigned goals.

Requirements, Preferences and Experience

Education

Preferred: Associates degree or 2 years of college level courses.

Minimum: Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency. Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.

Experience

Preferred: 1 year of business experience in a healthcare environment.

Minimum: 1 year of business experience.

Special Skills

Minimum: Basic Computer skills
