Technician-Central Sterile Supply Lead

Summary

Organizes and participates in daily delivery of assigned area of services by coordinating personnel and activities in order to accomplish timely and accurate performance of sterilization,assembling of instruments , and case carts for procedures to surgery patients. Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Organizes daily operations.
• Communicates and serves as a resource.
• Participates in Performance Improvement.
• Maintains skills and knowledge through training and continuing education. Assists in staff development.
• Completes assigned goals.

Requirements, Preferences and Experience

Education

Minimum: Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency. Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.

Experience

Minimum: 5 years Central Sterile experience

Special Skills

Minimum: Computer literacy.
