Summary

Systems Manager for IT A/V Systems will manage all A/V for the newly created BUCOM and the university

Responsibilities
• Manage audio/visual and teleconference technologies across the campus, including classrooms, conference rooms, seminar rooms, online streaming, etc.
• Collect & compile requirements for new projects or additional functionality, design concepts, and implement solutions
• Be a knowledge base expert on all audio/video and teleconferencing technologies and recommend integrations for system efficiency
• Collect and analyze usage data to inform return on investment from A/V systems
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements, Preferences and Experience
• Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Educational Technology or closely related field
• Master's degree preferred in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Educational Technology or closely related field
• 1-3 years directly applicable experience and/or 3-5 years related experience
• A/V certification, Project Management, ITIL, preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, oral and written communication skills are required
• Experience with A/V and teleconferencing technologies and platforms is a must
• Excellent troubleshooting skills in an integrated systems environment
• Job position requires the incumbent to continue professional development through workshops, conferences, certifications and/or other materials in the field
