Summary

Provides comprehensive management and leadership in an assigned area of responsibility to successfully implement and maintain an integrated software system to meet the diverse business and patient care needs across the Baptist healthcare continuum.Responsibilities include but are not limited to project leadership and management, implementation of project milestones, standardization of operations, identification of efficiencies and engagement of key stakeholders,Provides ownership and direction for the transformation of the people, processes, and technology impacted by the integrated software system across the enterprise. Incumbent is responsible for all of the above functions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Provides oversight for the development, design, and implementation of new applications and software packages throughout the system installation focusing on integrated business or clinical solutions. Works closely with the entire PMO team to implement such solutions/systems capabilities across service areas.
• Provides operational leadership and guidance in the implementation of project goals and tactics to appropriately measure project progression and milestones and to assess efficient resource utilization, budgetary accountability and effective human resources management.
• Participates in the strategic planning process to design key components to meet organizational goals.
• Analyzes processes/data for area of accountability and develops action plans to appropriately address concerns and/or maintain system integrity.
• Supports standardization through the consistent application of policies/procedures/guidelines and ensures compliance with regulatory agencies, where appropriate.
• Monitors installation and project progression through defined metrics, workflow assessments/improvements, reports, best practices to evaluate implementation efforts on an on-going basis. Communicates project milestones and challenges to senior leadership.
• Develops professional relationships with key stakeholders in the physician, clinical, and operational areas as a means of promoting communication and collaboration as a critical component of successful project implementation and maintenance while achieving excellence in customer support.
• Performs other accountabilities as assigned or directed
• Works for and in collaboration with the System Director- Baptist OneCare, regarding all essential functions.
• Has direct line accountability for designated application team and operations within scope of integrated software system
• Works closely with administrative staff members and/or designee(s) to develop and achieve goals in alignment with overall strategic direction.

Requirements, Preferences and Experience

Education

Preferred: Master's Degree

Minimum: Bachelor's Degree

Experience

Minimum: 3 years

Licensure, Registration, Certification

Minimum: Current licensure as required for clinical designation.
