Summary

Assist in the administrative functions, operations and coordination of the recruitment process for the College of Osteopathic Medicine to include relationship development and extensive travel, as well as, assessment and outcomes reporting. Responsible for shifts equal to 40 hours per week. Incumbents are subject to travel and hours beyond the normal workday.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct extensive recruitment activities in Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas and designated states to promote BUCOM to prospective students.
  • Supervises all facets of coordinating and processing prospective students and contacts in the prospective student pool, in order to encourage and facilitate enrollment of qualified applicants.
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with key individuals, groups, and institutions to recruit the best candidates for BUCOM.
  • Assist with the Marketing Department in the creation and update of admission marketing materials and public relation activities to insure effective representation of BUCOM.
  • Act as a liaison with other academic and administrative departments to support the mission of BUCOM.
  • Performs related accountabilities/responsibilities as required or directed.


Requirements, Preferences and Experience

Education

Minimum:
Master Degree in Counseling, Student Personnel Services, Educational Administration, or similar field.

Experience

Minimum:

Three years (3) or more years of experience in university admissions/recruitment at the graduate level.
