Mechanic-Electronics Lead - JS Plant Operations Facility Services MBMC

Summary

Responsible for overseeing the work and planning of the electronic maintenance of Mississippi Baptist Medical Center as well as doing hands-on work, as needed. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• "Coordinates and supervises the work of all maintenance employees involved in electronic actions. Helps supervision to develop electronic preventive maintenance programs and train shift personnel to make emergency repairs. Possesses good trouble-shooting skills to be able to detect problems in electronic systems and equipment. 20 %
• Is responsible for the safety coordination and quality assurance of the engineering/ Maintenance Department. Member of bomb squad and fire brigade. 20 %
• Consistently leads by example. Inter-disciplinary involvement in problem solving. Informs supervisor of activity status and inability to meet expectations. Readily provides supervisor with new information and suggestions as necessary. 20 %
• Proper use of assigned equipment. Proper notification of problems. Supplies are used properly. Reports to work at designated time. Completes activities within assigned time frames. Exhibits ability to prioritize activities. 10 %

Requirements, Preferences and Experience

Education

Preferred: Some College Preferred, or Completion Trade School courses Preferred.

Minimum: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.

Experience

Minimum: 4 years Operations - Maintenance. 4 years Operations - Plant Operations Required or 4 years Operations-Construction Required.

Special Skills

Minimum: Requires an in-depth knowledge of electronics and trouble shooting.
