Directs and manages the day to day operation and activities of the TA Team. for Baptist Memorial Health Care. Lead and affect change within BMHCC, affecting internal/external applicants and hiring managers in coordination with Human Resources and Administrative Staff in a manner consistent with the mission and philosophy of BMHCC.
Formulates goals/objectives, plans and develops programs, evaluates costs, monitor Employment Services budgets and performance. Collaborates with Leadership to identify issues/potential problems and facilities development of system policies/procedures for the resolutions or prevention of such concerns. Participates in the development, implementation and management of controls and advanced business practices in order to minimize BMHCC's legal and financial exposure to risks from issues related to the practice of Employment Services.
Provides advice and guidance to applicants, employees, management, and administrative staff regarding all areas of recruitment and hiring. Directs recruiting, screening, and interviewing internal/external applicants to provide qualified candidates to hiring managers to fill job vacancies within BMHCC. Participates in the design/administration of Human Resources programs. Provides policy interpretation n and monitors compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Responsibilities
Provides leadership/resources by directing and managing day to day operations and activities in a manner that is consistent with the mission and philosophy of Baptist.
Participates in organizational planning and development of formulating goals and objectives by planning, developing programs, and initiatives in support of strategic plans to assure effective practices and efficient utilization of throughout Baptist.
Consult with Leadership of hard to recruit positions throughout the system to assure fair and consistent application of recruitment strategies, policies, regulations, and protocols, while minimizing risk to Baptist.
Monitors TA software program for operating policies, practices and processes to ensure system utilization.
Monitor recruitment efforts utilizing TA Software and respond appropriately to system recruitment needs.
Participate and assist in strategic plan implementations that encompasses Baptist services by making modifications through input from key stakeholders.
Develop, implement, and administer policies and procedures by providing leadership to staff who serve management team, to assure fair and consistent application of rules, regulations, and protocols while minimizing legal risks and exposure to Baptist.
Provide input/recommendations in the development of budget by monitoring actual expenses and making adjustments to achieve goals and objectives in a cost-efficient manner.
Collaborate with Leadership to identify issues/potential problems and facilitate development of procedures for resolution and prevention.Requirements, Preferences and Experience Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field required. Masters preferred.5 years progressive management and generalist experience in Human Resources, Recruitment and/or Marketing preferably in a healthcare setting required.PHR or SPHR preferred.About Baptist Memorial Health Care
