Summary The Research Scientist III is responsible for analytic projects related to the work of the Thoracic Oncology Research Group, including technical writing and structured analytic work for project abstracts, manuscripts, and grants. Other duties may be performed as assigned. Travel may be required.
Responsibilities Writes abstracts, presentations, manuscripts, or grants, as directed.
Coordinates progress on assigned thoracic oncology projects.
Completes final preparation and submission of thoracic oncology research projects.
Completes data analysis tasks, as assigned.
Interprets, formats, and presents analytic results to various stakeholders.
Maintains confidentiality of all research data and records, pursuant to HIPAA, FDA, GCP, ICH and IRB guidelines regarding research subjects.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements, Preferences and Experience Experience Description Minimum Required Preferred/Desired 8 years of research writing or analysis experience.
Peer reviewed publications
10 years of research writing or analysis experience.
Education Description Minimum Required Preferred/Desired PhD in health-analysis related field (e.g., public health, epidemiology, statistics, etc.)

Special Skills Description Minimum Required Preferred/Desired Computer literate (including experience with Microsoft Office); must have demonstrable skills using SAS, S, and/or R.
