Doorman - ME Transportation Baptist Memphis

Summary

Assists hospital at a designated location to ensure safe entry and exit of vehicles by patients, visitors, guests. Maintains driveway in clear and safe manner to ensure traffic flow does not create problems on campus. Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assists Transportation Department by assuming responsibility for discharging patients from transporter.
• Maintains entrance in clean and orderly appearance.
• Performs as a transporter when needed to expedite discharge of patients and the turn over of rooms.
• Completes assigned goals.

Requirements, Preferences and Experience

Education

Preferred: High School diploma/GED.

Minimum: Knowledge, skills and mental development equivalent to completion of 4 years of high school, or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.

Special Skills

Minimum: Basic computer literacy skills required.

Training

Minimum: As acquired through 6 months on job.
