Assistant-Research Survey - HS Strategic Analytics HS Corporate

Summary

Assists the Manager of Survey Research and supports survey efforts including, but not limited to, patient satisfaction, physician satisfaction, employee satisfaction, community opinion and employee survey of Patient Safety Culture. Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Supports the administration of the Patient Safety Culture Survey for all Baptist employees.
• Maintains a database of physician practices and physicians for use in the submission of data for patient satisfaction measurement of physician office practices.
• Enters survey data and creates reports monthly for patient satisfaction measurement of Baptist Behavioral Health entities.
• Enters survey data for monthly patient satisfaction measurement of Medical Alternatives.
• Downloads CMS data for reporting.
• Assists in the administration of the Medical Staff data for use in the physician survey of the hospital.
• Assists with the community opinion survey.
• Completes assigned goals.

Requirements, Preferences and Experience

Education

Minimum: Bachelors degree in a research oriented program or equivalent on-the-job experience in creating reports, administering surveys, maintaining databases, organizing library of reports and participating in quality control efforts.

Experience

Preferred: 7+ years experience with standard office computer tools preferred, 5+ years in and Health Services Research or survey research environment preferred, intermediate knowledge of ACCESS, SPSS and SAS preferred

Minimum: 5 years with standard office computer tools, 3 years in a Health Services Research or survey research environment, 3 basic knowledge of ACCESS, SPSS and advanced knowledge of Excel.

Special Skills

Minimum: Ability to work with limited supervision. Communication skills appropriate for interactions with executives, administrators and hospital staff. Excellent critical thinking skills. Organizational skills required to work on complicated projects and abilities to ensure a high quality outcome. Enthusiasm to improve processes and projects and to meet quality assurance needs.
