Specialist-Radiology Digital Record - ME Rad Admin Baptist Memphis

Summary

Operates computer systems to accurately document, transfer and preserve records, including communication networks to provide radiology images, reports and other data to patient care providers. Performs other duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves and processes information from various radiology databases to ensure timely and smooth delivery of reports and images to healthcare professionals.
• Interacts and communicates directly with physicians, patients, and staff in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
• Supports educational activities by participating in instruction sessions to ensure accurate operation of radiology information systems and to promote continuous improvement in patient care standards.
• Maintains equipment and work areas in a neat and safe condition to ensure the safety of staff.
• Completes assigned goals.

Requirements, Preferences and Experience

Education

Minimum: Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency. Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.

Special Skills

Minimum: Basic computer literacy skills.
