System Director-Case Management

Summary

Manages the resources for utilization review and case management to achieve the organizational goals. Has direct supervisory accountability for utilization positions for all entities, employees, operations, and activities within the assigned patient care, including coordination staff training, assigning and reviewing work, and evaluating performance independently or in conjunction with a higher-level supervisor/manager. Provides oversight of all case management responsibilities for all entities. Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
• Supervises and coordinates the day-to-day delivery of patient care related to case management and utilization review.
• Supervises daily operations, activities, and personnel of the patient care area.
• Participates in the goal setting process, recommends policy and procedure and assists in evaluating programs.
• Acts as a change agent, evaluating present systems and creating efficient, effective systems as necessary.
• Demonstrates the professional role model.
• Implements cost effective solutions.

Requirements, Preferences and Experience
• 5 years nursing with 1 year of management experience in related field. Leadership experience utilizing problem solving methodologies required.
• Bachelor's degree or higher degree preferred.
• RN required
