Research Coordinator II - TC Multid Clinics BMH Tipton

Summary

Responsible for conduct related to thoracic oncology clinical research protocols, in accordance with all applicable regulations, guidelines and policies. This includes the planning, development, coordination and evaluation, and enrollment and follow-up for clinical research studies from start to finish. Performs or implements all required processes to assure study-related procedures are performed as required and all objectives and timelines are met. Works with thoracic oncology research team to complete all required tasks. Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Understands and knowledgeable of policies, procedures, and regulations governing human subject?s research and incorporates them in securing approval for and the conduct of research.
• Assists with the coordination of thoracic oncology clinical research operations.
• Serves as an advocate for the human subjects by establishing and maintaining compliance in the conduct of the research protocol.
• Establishes and maintains communication with all stakeholders associated with the conduct of research.
• Completes assigned goals.

Requirements, Preferences and Experience

Education

Preferred: College graduate preferred.

Licensure, Registration, Certification

Preferred: BLS
