Manager-Operations - MG Referral

Overview

Summary

Provides management and operational oversight to the BMG Referral Center and works in close collaboration with BMG leadership and other key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the growth and development of the, referral department, and care coordination outreach department.
• Responsible for the day to day supervision of the Physician Referral Center staff, including Supervisors, Referral Leads, prioritization of work, staff coverage amongst workgroups, and training and development for new and current employees.
• Assists in the Director in human resources objectives, including hiring, transferring, developing, disciplining and termination of employees.
• Provides project leadership for assigned initiatives.
• Maintains strong working relationships with internal and external customers by providing excellent customer service assistance and open communication.
• Demonstrates teamwork within an assigned workgroup that will assure the coordination and consistency in referral operations.

Requirements, Preferences and Experience

Education

 Preferred:  Masters degree in Health Care, Business Administration, or related field

 Minimum:  Bachelors degree or equivalent supervisory experience. 

Experience

 Preferred:  3 years supervisory experience; experience in call center or health-related field

 Minimum:  2 years of supervisory experience

Special Skills

 Preferred:  Experience in call center functions including metrics, staffing models, business plans, and quality and satisfaction measures

 Minimum:  Proficient computer skills
