Summary

Baptist Clinical research Institute is seeking a knowledgeable, respected, goal-driven leader to join our team as a Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) Assistant Director. The successful candidate will have experience in providing direction and administrative oversight to all core components of the institution's HRPP including IRB, Training, and Quality Assurance and Improvement. The HRPP Director will oversee the facilitation and support of research reviewed by the Baptist Institutional Review Boards (IRBs), including the development and implementation of program goals and objectives.

Requirements, Preferences and Experience

  • 5 Years of experience that is directly related to duties and responsibilities. Demonstrated work experience with increasing responsibility in a human subjects protection program or experience supervising or conducting human research.
  • At least 7 Years of experience that is directly related to duties and responsibilities Bachelor's Degree in a related field or a minimum of 8 years of research experience without a degree. Preferred Masters Degree. Knowledge of HIPPA regulations and Code of Federal Regulation for human subjects research. Working knowledge of good clinical/research practices and standards. Knowledge of AAHRPP standards and accreditation requirements. Knowledge of state laws governing HIPAA. Certified IRB Professional (CIP) or other appropriate Certification as a research professional
