Responsible for planning, organizing, staffing and supervising the overall operation of the Environmental Services Department.
Under the general direction of the Administrative Director responsible for all shifts, 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.Subject to callback as required by BMH-Golden Triangle
Bachelors Degree in Related Field
Knowledge of local, state, and federal requirements related to Environmental Services procedures. Knowledge of basic infection control process and disinfecting of patient care areas.
Knowledge of human growth and development necessary for care of patients appropriate to the patient's age (neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric) as acquired through in-service and/or on-the-job training.
Ability to prepare reports and other documents; to compile and analyze data; and to use adult learning techniques when teaching or training employees in assigned areas.
Licensure, Registration, Certification
None required, preferred membership in ASHES or IEHA.
